VANISHING POINT To Support BLACK LABEL SOCIETY In Australia
July 29, 2006Australian progressive metal band VANISHING POINT will support BLACK LABEL SOCIETY on two shows of their 2006 Australian tour. VANISHING POINT will be playing on September 23 in Adelaide at The Barton Theatre and then on September 24 in Melbourne at The Palace. Both gigs start at approximately 8:00 p.m. The Adelaide show is AUD $62.35 and the Melbourne show is AUD $69.90.
VANISHING POINT is currently writing material for its fourth album, tentatively due in early 2007 via Dockyard 1. The band is scheduled to enter Palm Studios (BLACK MAJESTY, THE ETERNAL) in September with producer Endel Rivers to begin recording the CD, which the group claims will contain "probably the heaviest music that we have come up with . . . We still have the melodic edge, symphonic arrangements and thought-provoking lyrics as usual that you would expect on a VANISHING POINT album."
VANISHING POINT's latest album, "Embrace the Silence", was released in Europe in May 2005 through Dockyard 1. "Embrace the Silence" is available in Australia and New Zealand through Riot Distribution.
